THIS IS THE 27TH YEAR FOR THE SARASOTA COED SOFTBALL LEAGUE.

THE ORGANIZATION MEETING IS OCTOBER 23, 2024 AT 6PM AT THE BEE RIDGE PARK PAVILLION.

Monday Night Representative –

SARASOTA COED SOFTBALL LEAGUE ROSTER IS REQUIRED.

All teams must email their Roster/Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Waiver Release form to me (click to email me now).   One form can be used for a team, but new players must sign a form before they play a game. COUNTY REQUIRES THIS FORM BEFORE RELEASING SEASON RESERVATION.

Managers, it is your responsibility to make sure that they are filled out completely and correctly prior to game time.  Umpires and night representatives should have blank copies or download from the website.

Be sure to put your team name on the check or we won’t know who to credit.  There are no team fee refunds after the schedules have been posted. Players must fill out and mail to Heather Ray or email to Bob the Team Roster/Waiver form prior to the first game.

LIGHTS

The lights are now controlled by MUSCO and not the County. There are no buttons to push to turn the lights on and off. The lights will go on 15 minutes before sunset and will go off 15 minutes after the time on the permit. To save the league unnecessary expense, the lights will be turned off following the last game on either field by a phone call to MUSCO. The umpires and night reps have the phone numbers.

TEAM ROSTERS ARE REQUIRED BY SARASOTA COUNTY BEFORE THE PERMIT IS RELEASED TO THIS LEAGUE. SEND TEAM ROSTERS TO bob@coedball.com.

The games will start at 7:00 for the Summer season starting JULY 29 2024. There will be 12 games. The Summer league fees will be $575 DUE JULY 1, 2024.

Home team listed last. Each team brings their own balls to hit which are .44 core, 375 compression. 

Home team keeps official score but in the interest of fair play, both teams must agree on the score at the end of each inning.

BOTH TEAMS MUST HAVE A SCORE BOOK. If the 7:00 games are not played, the 8:15 games will not be played.  Unless the Team Manager receives a phone call from the Night Representative, the games are being played and you need to show up. Rain out games will extend the season.
